In a video: Mbappé officially decides his future with Saint-Germain

French football star Kylian Mbappe announced in a video clip on the (X) social networking platform, formerly known as (Twitter), on Friday, his departure from French club Paris Saint-Germain within weeks.

Mbappe said in the video: “This is my last year at Paris Saint-Germain. I will not continue and I will end my adventure within weeks. I will play my last match at the Parc des Princes on Sunday.” It was widely reported that Mbappe would move to Real Madrid, but the French player... The Spanish team was not mentioned in the video. The famous Spanish program “El Chiringuito” revealed the scenes of a phone call made by the president of the French club Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, with the team’s star, Kylian Mbappe.

It was stated on the program page on the “X” platform that Al-Khelaifi had communicated, during the past hours, with Mbappe to find out how he wanted to bid farewell to the Parisian team.

The source added that Saint-Germain's administration is studying how Mbappe's farewell will be, next Sunday, at the Princes' Park Stadium.

The French capital team will host its counterpart, Toulouse, on Sunday, for the 33rd round of the French League, which is Saint-Germain’s last match at its stadium.

The French team bid farewell to the Champions League on Tuesday evening, after losing 0-1 to German club Borussia Dortmund, and 0-2 on aggregate in the two matches.

Mbappe's contract with the team, 25 years old, expires in a few weeks, amid strong speculation regarding his move to Spanish Real Madrid.

Mbappe, who joined Saint-Germain in 2017, coming from Monaco, had extended his contract in 2022 until 2024, but last summer he refused to activate a clause allowing him to stay another year at the Parc des Princes.
